In accordance with data protection laws, Projecto Caridade guarantees your right to request the deletion of all your personal information from our databases.

How to request deletion?

To request the deletion of your data (such as beneficiary registration data, volunteer registrations or contact details), please follow the following steps:

• Send an email to info@caridade.ao with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
• In the body of the email, please include your full name and the email address and/or phone number you used on our forms.
• Specify whether you want to delete all your data or just those from a specific section (e.g. unsubscribe from volunteering).

Processing Deadline

Our team will process your request as quickly as possible and within a maximum period of 15 working days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

What happens after deletion?

Once deletion is confirmed, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems, such as Firebase Firestore and email databases. If it is an ongoing case (for example, a social assistance case), deleting the data will discontinue the case and our ability to evaluate it will be interrupted.
